Clearing Browser Cache for Credible Issues

If you experience issues using Credible in your browser, clearing the cache can often resolve the problem. This guide explains how to clear the cache in Microsoft Edge. Screenshots should be inserted at the indicated steps for clarity.


Steps to Clear Browser Cache in Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Browser Settings

    • In Microsoft Edge, click the ellipses (… menu) at the top-right corner of the browser window.

  2. Go to Privacy Settings

    • From the menu, select Settings.

    • In the left-hand panel, select Privacy, search, and services.

  3. Choose What to Clear

    • Under the Clear browsing data section, click Choose what to clear.

    • Important: Do not use the Internet Explorer section.

  4. Select Time Range and Clear Data

    • Set the Time Range to All Time.

    • Ensure that Cached images and files is selected. You may also select cookies if instructed by IT.

    • Click Clear now.

  5. Close and Reopen Browser

    • Close Microsoft Edge completely by clicking the X in the upper-right corner. Make sure all tabs and windows are closed.

    • Reopen Microsoft Edge and log back into Credible.
