Signing Into Your Apple ID on iPhone 16e

Overview

This guide explains how to sign into your Apple ID on your iPhone 16e. Your Apple ID is used to access the App Store, iCloud, and other Apple services.
Important: You will receive an email directly from Apple containing your Apple ID username and temporary password. This email will be sent to your DLC inbox — please locate it before beginning setup.

Steps to Sign Into Apple ID

1. Locate Your Apple ID Email

   • Open your DLC inbox and look for an email from Apple with the subject line similar to “Your Apple ID Information” or “Welcome to Apple.”

   • The message includes your Apple ID (email address) and temporary password.

   • Keep this email open for reference while setting up your iPhone.

2. Open Settings

   • Tap the Settings app (gray gear icon) on your Home screen.

   • At the top of the screen, tap Sign in to your iPhone.

3. Enter Apple ID Credentials

   • Type in the Apple ID and temporary password provided in the Apple email.

   • Tap Next to continue.

4. Verify Your Identity

   • If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your DLC inbox or another trusted device.

   • Follow any on-screen prompts to complete setup.

5. Change Your Password (If Prompted)

   • Apple may require you to create a new, secure password after signing in.

   • Choose a strong password and store it securely.

6. Confirm Sign-In

   • Once signed in, your name and Apple ID will appear at the top of the Settings screen.

   • You can now access iCloud, the App Store, and other Apple services.

Notes

• Your Apple ID is managed by Apple and linked to your DLC account for device setup.

• Do not change the Apple ID email address or remove it from your assigned iPhone.

• Enable Find My iPhone and iCloud Backup when prompted on a trusted DLC device.
